Is it a Scam, or Can it Really Help Your Aching Feet?

I was on Facebook the other day and saw an advertisement for a product called Doc Socks. Silly name aside, I was curious to see what this product was all about. It claimed to reduce swelling, soothe aches, get rid of heel pain and even boost your circulation.

Doc Socks makes a lot of promises, but is it just another scam?

Let me clear the air by first telling you that these socks are not a scam. And they pair really well with MindInSole. Is it a miracle product? No, but what product is? I’ll talk more about the pros and cons of these socks in my Doc Socks review.

What are Doc Socks? How Does This Product Work?

Doc Socks are anti-fatigue, compression sock sleeves that help alleviate aches and pains. These aren’t your usual socks. They extend from just above the ankle to the ball of the foot. You can wear them alone or with your regular socks.

Doc Socks was designed by a podiatrist with extensive experience in the treatment of foot pain caused by poor support in the heel, arch and ankle core.

The sock is comprised of 7 targeted zones and has 3 levels of compression. You can see these 7 targeted areas in the design of the sock, which features strategic markings that aid in compression and support.

    The Benefits of Doc Socks

The manufacturer says Doc Socks can alleviate heel pain, reduce swelling, boost circulation and soothe aches in your feet. How can it achieve these results? Through compression technology.

Studies have shown that compression socks can help with:

    • Plantar fasciitis arch pain
    • Calf cramping
    • Muscle soreness
    • Improve circulation for faster healing
    • Provide ankle stability

If you’re a runner, one of your biggest concerns is plantar fasciitis. It’s one of the most common causes of heel pain, and it can take months to heal. Having to take months off of running can really throw a wrench in your progress.

Doc Socks can help prevent plantar fasciitis. It works by providing extra support for the plantar fascia tissues running from the heel to the underside of the toes. Compression technology also helps improve circulation, which may speed up the healing process if you’re already dealing with this common foot issue.

These socks also naturally elevate the arch of the foot and provide extra support for this sensitive area. If your arches have dropped due to weight gain or weight-bearing activities, the extra support in the arch area can help prevent pain. Doc Socks can’t cure flat feet, but they may help prevent aches and pains associated with this common foot condition.

    Some Drawbacks

I have just one complaint with Doc Socks: there are no sizes. While not a complete deal-breaker, the one-size-fits-all design of these socks may be a problem for some people.

If you have especially large or small feet, these sock sleeves may not fit properly.

For the compression technology and targeted zones to work properly, the sleeve needs to fit properly.

For most people, the one-size design won’t be a problem, but if you have especially large or small feet, you may have issues getting this sleeve to fit properly.

Doc Socks and MindInSole – A Perfect Pair

When I first saw and read about Doc Socks, my first thought was that they would pair perfectly with MindInSole. In fact, I think these socks would work well with most foot insoles.

MindInSole is designed to massage key areas of the feet and uses cooling magnets to balance energy. The airflow design also works to keep your feet dry and cool. The 400 massaging nodules stimulate key pressure points on the feet. Doc Socks provides additional arch support, improves circulation and further helps prevent pain.

If you want a complete foot pain solution, I would definitely recommend pairing Doc Socks with MindInSole.

Doc Socks may not be a miracle cure-all for foot pain, but they can provide some much-needed relief for your tired, aching feet. The one-size design may be an issue for people with unusually large or small feet, but most people won’t have an issue getting these socks to fit properly.

I highly recommend these socks for anyone dealing with foot pain, and they work even better when paired with MindInSole or another insole.

Happy Feet Review was launched out of a passion for finding true, lasting pain relief. Did you know that 75% of the world’s population has foot pain of some kind? That’s a lot of people, and the footwear industry has done little to correct the issue.
